Blake Jeffery Becker
October 28, 1981
BS in Elementary Education from The University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point (Graduated December 2005)
Nothing endurance related. He did play baseball for 13 years (would have played in college if it weren't for triathlon), bench pressed 290 pounds and has golfed since he was 10 (handicap of 7).
UWSP Wellness Triathlon (Spring 2001) - 400y pool swim, 30-minute stationary bike and a 5k indoor track run. The swim (walk) took him 11:17.
Ironman Wisconsin 2002 (12:08)
The 2 hour tempo run.
That's a tough one... His favorite meal is breakfast, but that's because he eats it twice each day. You can also bet that the grill is fired up on most nights. If it's not, it's because he's got the cast iron out!
Hip-hop when riding or running. Otherwise I have been known to listen to country.
Anything outdoors (hunting, fishing and camping), cooking, XC skiing, the weather, interior design, psychology, travel and thinking outside the box.
