About Blake & BBMC ...
Blake Becker is a 31 year old endurance sports coach and Professional Triathlete.
As an athlete, Blake has over a decade of racing experience across all distances from sprint distance to Ironman. Blake has completed 25+ Ironman races and has gone from an athlete with no racing experience or background, to an 8 hour/top 5 Ironman finisher.
As an endurance coach, Blake has been working with athletes for 10 years. He combines a Bachelors Degree in Education, with a USA Triathlon certification and nearly a decade of experience.
Over the last 10 years, Blake has worked with over 200 athletes of all ability levels; this includes athletes who set out to complete their first sprint triathlon, as well as athletes who race as elites and have raced at the World Championships. Athletic Background:
Nothing endurance related. He did play baseball for 13 years (would have played in college if it weren't for triathlon), bench pressed 290 pounds and has golfed since he was 10 (handicap of 7).
First Triathlon:
UWSP Wellness Triathlon (Spring 2001) - 400y pool swim, 30-minute stationary bike and a 5k indoor track run. The swim (walk) took him 11:17.

The 2 hour tempo run.
Favorite Food:
That's a tough one... His favorite meal is breakfast, but that's because he eats it twice each day. You can also bet that the grill is fired up on most nights. If it's not, it's because he's got the cast iron out!

Hip-hop when riding or running. Otherwise I have been known to listen to country.
Other Interests:
Anything outdoors (hunting, fishing and camping), cooking, XC skiing, the weather, interior design, psychology, travel and thinking outside the box.
